<(^_^<) The Legend of Smil (>\_/)>

Part XVI: Paths Chosen

Previously, on the Legend of Smil:

...

Hmm... Multiple relevant flashbacks to chose from...

...

Screw that. You readers can just read the bloody previous parts yourselves.

{>9_9}>

God: It's about time. I've only been saying that for the ENTIRE STORY now.

And you can just shut the [bleep] up too. Your continual harassment of the narrator is not funny any more. It's not even remotely amusing. This stupid discussions are long past their use by date. This joke has run it's course, and is now DEAD. This very conversation ITSELF is just stupid. ENOUGH.

{>;‹›_‹›}>

God: That joke was YOUR idea. Who's the narrator? Or did you already forget that whole 'you controlling the story' thing.

... I need a drink.

This time, on the Legend of Smil:

Sneak: So are we going after the bloody staff, or not?

Dan: 'Staff'. It's pronounced 'Staff'. Not 'staff'. 'Staff'. It's special.

###    (>o.o)>    (>>_>)>    "/\"    <(o_o<)    <(ô_ô<)    ~~~~~

X: We must find the staff. In the hands of the ignorant, or worse, the evil, the Staff could prove deadly.

Sneak: Sure. And the fact that YOU want it has nothing to do your opinion whatsoever.

X: That is entirely beside the point.

Lora: It could be dangerous for Smilville if we do not stop the Mother Cockroach soon.

X: The delay would be comparatively minimal. I know of a sage, Esana, in SomewhereElse who collects and sells magical tomes, so there is a good chance of reacquiring a tome of Giant's Step which will greatly reduce out travelling time from that point. And let us not forget the possibility of wielding the power in this Staff to hasten our progress... God was hardly specific in its powers, but perhaps Esana will know more of it. She always did have a passion for collection of old documents.

Lora: Well...

###    (>u.u)>    (>-_-)>    "/\"    <(o_o<)    <(ô_ô<)    ~~~~~

X: Let's not forget who has the immense magical powers in this party.

Lora: Fine. Come the morning, we shall head towards SomewhereElse.

X: Then let us rest. I will take first watch, seeing as how I must revise what tomes I-

Dan: We can't rest yet! We haven't all told a story yet!

Lora: I told you, I have no particular history of interest that...

Sneak: Oh, this ought to be good.
